23-05-2010 Berkshire cruise to finals weekend
What a weekend of hockey, four matches in just two days! I had the privilege of being a part of the Berkshire Men's County hockey team again this year. The goal: defend our title as reigning champions!

Our team was made up of players from over 10 clubs as well three South Africans. There were a number of queries from other teams about the eligibility of a few our team members (including myself) but we were in fact entitled to play for Berkshire County.

Saturday:
Berkshire vs Bedfordshire (5-0 win)
Berkshire vs Sussex (5-2 win)

Sunday:
Berkshire vs Warwickshire (5-3 win)
Berkshire vs Oxfordshire (7-3 win)

The unbeaten weekend means we finish top of the pool and go through to the finals weekend on Sunday 6th June in Sheffield.
