24-02-2010 SA Men go down to The Netherlands in opening warm up game
A disappointing start to our World Cup campaign today. The Netherlands a team we were close to beating just over a month ago found it far to easy to put goals past us. We showed very promising play throughout the game but failed to react quick enough on our turnovers.

Despite the result (7-3) we are fully aware that it is by no means an indication of where we are at as a team. We are still adjusting to the newly laid turf as well as getting back up to speed with international paced hockey. Our next warm up game against Argentina should yield a far better performance from us.
